Effect of tactical modeling on the frequency of choice of tactical fundamentals of attack in football

The goal of this research was quantify and compare footballer’s tactical requirements during a small side game
(SSG). 40 players were divided in two groups, 20 in the control group (Age: 11,38 ± 0,31 years, Height: 150,45 ±
7,85, Weight: 46,25 ± 10,67 kg) and 20 in the experimental group (Age: 10,52 ± 0,28 years, Height: 142,8 ± 5,41
cm, Weight: 37,30 ± 5,94 kg). Tactical fundaments were measured twice before and twice after the play, in 3x3
and 6x6+GK mode. Data shows like the experimental treatment had a positive effect and promoted the use of
tactical fundaments respect the control group. The improvement in the experimental group was significant
between the test before the training and after it. Furthermore, results evidence an use of tactical fundaments
more often with the 3x3 play mode than with the 6x6+GK play mode. Tactical modelling is an effective treatment
to promote the collective cooperation based on the tactic.
